Ruthvika wins a “Double” in Haridwar

Ruthvika Shivani scored a double in the 10th UBI All India Sub Junior Ranking Tournament which was held in KBA Stadium from 20th to 24th July 2011. She won the Under 15 Girls’ Singles and Doubles (partnering Sanjana Santhosh of Maharashtra).

Our Main Academy in Bangalore is housed in a state-of-the art facility with superior amenities.The academy has five courts at the ultra modem K.Raheja Badminton Stadium which is centrally located off Queen’s Road & is only a five-minute drive from MG Road. Players have access to a swimming pool, fully-equipped gymnasium, squash court, restaurant & they can also benefit from an onsite Yonex equipment and goods outlet.

Programs

The Prakash Padukone badminton academy (PPBA) has collaborated with GoSports (India) Pvt.Ltd to setup the Elite Training Programme at its center in Bangalore. This programme was conceptualized with the intent of having foreign teams  come to the garden city of Bangalore and train at the world class facilities of the PPBA. We also run various Clinics and Exchange Programs as well.

Our Centers

PPBA was launched on October 1st, 1994. Located in the heart of vibrant Bangalore city, the Academy was started by Mr. Prakash Padukone, Mr. Vimal Kumar and Mr. Vivek Kumar.Encouraged by the success of the Bangalore Centre, PPBA established the Pune Centre in July, 1999 and The TATA Padukone Mumbai Centre was opened in May 2009 at the Cricket Club of India.
