

Admission procedure
PPBA is a highly subsidized program that admits only a limited number of players to ensure high-quality coaching. The selection process is designed to identify talented and dedicated players through a merit-based assessment.
Submission of
Player Profile
Players interested in joining PPBA must submit a detailed profile via email on prakashpadukoneacademy@gmail.com. The profile must include:

Name, Age, and Contact Details

Current Level of Play (State/National/International ranking, if any)

Achievements & Tournament Performances
-
Coaching History & Training Background
-
Video Clips (Optional but recommended) showcasing gameplay

Profile Evaluation
Our team will review the submitted profiles based on:

Performance in National or State Level tournaments

Potential for future growth and excellence
-
Passion towards playing badminton
If the player's profile meets our requirements, they will receive an invitation for the next stage.


Invitation to Short-Term Camp
Selected players will be invited to attend
a Short-Term Camp conducted by PPBA.
During this camp, our expert coaches will assess:

Technical Skills

Physical Fitness & Endurance
-
Attitude, Discipline, and Work Ethic


Final Selection and Induction
Based on performance in the short-term camp, commitment level, and coaches’ feedback, a few players will be offered admission into the PPBA Training Program.
Following the evaluation, the selection of players will be at the sole discretion of Prakash Padukone Badminton Academy.
